B.Juris (Bachelor of Law) – Nelson Mandela University
Post Graduate Certificate in Deceased Estates Practice, Wills & Trusts – UNISA, College of Law in Collaboration with the Law Society Of South Africa
Paresh entered the legal profession approximately 27 years ago whilst studying Law part-time when he joined his late cousin at his firm of attorneys in Cape Town, who took him under his wing where he was introduced to the law practice industry. Soon after that, he relocated to Port Elizabeth and joined another firm of attorneys where he developed a keen interest in the Law of Succession and, about 4 years later, specialised in the field when he was invited to join one of the largest firms in Port Elizabeth where he headed up the Wills and Estates department.
In 2012, Paresh was invited to set up a legal practice for a group of attorneys and soon after set up offices for the firm in Port Elizabeth, Johannesburg, and Cape Town where he was the firm’s Practice Development Manager. He was headhunted by a national trust company in Cape Town in 2018 to assist them as their Business Development Manager and later embarked on establishing his own Consultancy that specialised in legal, business, property consulting, and fiduciary services. In 2023, Paresh was approached and invited to join Remnant, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Currently, Paresh runs his own boutique Legal and Fiduciary Services Consultancy alongside his advisory role at Remnant. He enjoys helping people and making a difference in their lives and is driven to ensure that a client’s final wishes are fulfilled, especially after enduring loss. To Paresh, this is a fulfilling, worthwhile, and gratifying purpose.
Paresh was born and raised in Port Elizabeth, where he developed a keen interest in martial arts and trained in Atemi Jitsu and Ju-Jitsu. As with most youngsters, he enjoyed the thrill of motorcycles and is still an avid motorsport fanatic. Paresh loves animals and has volunteered for an NPO that provides foster care and rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming services. He also enjoys online gaming and cooking.
